The Portos do Paraná (Ports of Paraná) is a port complex made up of the ports of Paranaguá and Antonina. The administration operates as a state-owned company, subordinate to the State Secretariat for Infrastructure and Logistics, with a delegation agreement with the Federal Government.
The Port of Paranaguá is the largest bulk port in Latin America.
It is the second largest port in Brazil in terms of container handling, with more than 1.1 million containers handled in 2022.
Currently, the Port of Paranaguá is one of the most important maritime trade centers in the world, combining a strategic location with one of the best port infrastructures in Latin America.
Among the main cargoes handled in Paranaguá are: soybeans, soybean meal, corn, salt, sugar, fertilizers, containers, frozen foods, oil products, ethanol and vehicles.

The Paranaguá Container Terminal (TCP) is one of the largest container terminals in South America, offering a wide range of maritime and integrated logistics services.
THE TERMINAL CURRENTLY HANDLES MORE THAN 1.1 MILLION TEUs PER YEAR, with a projected capacity to handle up to 2.5 million.
Since 2018, TCP has been part of the portfolio of China Merchants Port Holding Company (CMPort), the largest and most competitive developer, investor and operator of public ports in China.
WITH THE LARGEST REEFER STRUCTURE IN SOUTH AMERICA
TCP is the only one in southern Brazil with a railroad branch inside the customs zone, connecting Brazilian and Paraguayan exporters to the port. One in five containers exported through Paranaguá uses the railroad.
